With a maximum of 8 children per group, ESi Génération group lessons strike a balance between personalized instruction and the joy of skiing together. Children progress alongside peers of a similar skill level, enjoying a dynamic, supportive, and relaxed atmosphere.
About the Group Ski Lessons for children at ESi Génération Serre Chevalier
Throughout the week, the instructor monitors each child’s progress and adapts exercises based on their current skills. This step-by-step assessment helps consolidate the fundamentals before moving on to the next stages, all without turning the learning process into a competition.
By the end of the week, children can see how far they have come and leave proudly with their progress booklet and medal—both included in the group lesson price.

It is a fun way to provide young skiers with clear milestones, celebrate their achievements, and inspire them to continue their adventure on the slopes.
Schedules
The timetables for group lessons for children vary depending on the time of year.
Below you’ll find the different time slots available at Christmas, during the February holidays, at Easter and outside school holidays, so you can easily choose the option that best suits your stay in Serre Chevalier.
*IMPORTANT: for morning group lessons during school holidays, please arrive 10 minutes before the lesson starts to save time queuing for the ski lifts. Please bear this in mind when planning your day.

Lunch Club
Our Lunch Club is available to children aged 4 and up who have booked lessons with us. It includes a hot, seated meal at one of our partner restaurants, as well as supervision afterwards.
Children taking full-day ski school lessons will be brought back to our meeting point for their afternoon session. Only parents of children taking morning lessons need to pick them up at 2:00 PM at our meeting point.
Cost of supervised lunches: €38 per child per day, or €228 for the week (6 days, Sunday to Friday).
Ski pass and equipement
Lift passes and ski equipment are not included in group lessons. Please arrange these separately before meeting the instructor. For a child’s first time on skis, comfort and properly fitted equipment are crucial. Gear that is too big, poorly adjusted, or uncomfortable can quickly tire a child out and hinder their learning progress.

Essential gear for young skiers:
- A ski pass suitable for the child’s age and the specific area used during lessons
- Skis suited to their height and skill level, correctly adjusted
- Comfortable ski boots in the right size
- A helmet essential for protecting your child while skiing
- Warm, waterproof gloves or mittens
- Ski goggles to protect their eyes from sun, wind, and glare
- Warm, waterproof clothing suitable for winter conditions
- Sunscreen and lip balm—useful even on cloudy days
